Who Was Ronald Williams Sr.? Police Flag Erratic Behavior
Ronald Williams Sr is a Black male, local ABC affiliate KAKE revealed along with a photo of the 53-year-old man. Jason Diaz, special agent in charge with the KBI, revealed in response to reporters’ questions that Williams Sr. was exhibiting “erratic behavior” in the days before the tragic shooting.
“I can say that we’ve had contact with Mr. Williams [about] some erratic behavior,” the police department representative said. “I can’t say that anything would have indicated that we would be where we are today,” he added.

The representative also noted the suspect was a “registered sex offender” who often yelled at kids. There were also reports of firearms being fired. KBI agent Diaz added that they are talking to the neighbors regarding “numerous instances of erratic behavior” and what may have prompted Tuesday morning’s incident.
“We understand the impact that the neighbors are experiencing right now, and we appreciate their patience while we’re working through this,” agent Diaz added. “But we do have our crime scene response team. They made great time coming down there to the scene right now and processing it.”
